T he countdown is on. Magixx, the rising star of Mavin Records, has unveiled the official tracklist for his highly anticipated debut album, I Dream in Color, set to drop on February 28. Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a photo of himself rocking a black shirt emblazoned with the album’s 13-song lineup, alongside the caption:
“FOR THIS AND THE GENERATIONS TO COME! PEEP THE TRACKLIST!”
With Afrobeats, R&B, and soul infused into his craft, Magixx is staking his claim in the ever-evolving Nigerian music scene. The 13 tracks? Consistency, Ori Mi, With You, Alchl, Winter & Summer, Okay, Eleven, Sexy Lady, Vibration (featuring Jeriq), Bad Decisions & Foreplay, Sempe, Konibaje, and Voices.
One feature. Jeriq, lending his gritty flow to Vibration. A bold move, signaling that I Dream in Color is a deeply personal project, not a collaboration-packed album.
A Star in the Making
Since signing with Mavin Records, Magixx (real name Alexander Adelabu) has taken a steady, calculated climb to the top, blending genres with the precision of a master craftsman. Songs like Okay, his biggest streaming hit of 2024, and Winter & Summer, a raw, emotional heartbreak anthem released just last month, hint at the depth and sonic diversity awaiting fans.
This debut album isn’t just another release—it’s his defining moment. At 13 tracks, I Dream in Color isn’t playing it safe. It’s a statement. With Mavin’s powerhouse backing, the expectations are sky-high.
All Eyes on February 28
The official release date—February 28, 2025—has been locked in since his February 10 announcement. Fans are already calling it a milestone moment, and the pre-save link is live for those eager to dive in the second it drops.
With only eight days to go, one question remains: Will Magixx deliver a game-changing debut? The answer is coming soon.
