C ontroversial actor and skit maker, Ijoba Lande, has expressed his disappointment over his experience working with popular actress and producer, Funke Akindele.
In a revelation that has stirred conversations in the entertainment industry, Lande claimed he spent one month working on a movie production at Amen Estate, only to receive a payment of N90,000.
“There was a time Funke Akindele called me for a movie production at Amen Estate, and we spent one month there. I was shocked when she gave me N90,000 after spending one month,” he lamented.
The comedian used his experience to caution upcoming actors against blindly idolizing top industry figures, emphasizing the importance of negotiating payment upfront before accepting roles.
“I have learned my lesson. I will always state my charges before going to any location. When she called me, I was too excited to discuss payment, only to end up with N90k after one month,” he added.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting his stance on fair compensation, while others argue that experience and exposure in the industry can sometimes be more valuable than the paycheck.
