J oy Mojisola Raimi, representing Osun State, has emerged as Miss World Nigeria 2025, triumphing over 36 other contestants in a dazzling grand finale held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The University of Port Harcourt graduate captivated both judges and audience alike with her grace, eloquence, and inspiring story of resilience. In the final round, she stood out among top contenders from Imo, Ebonyi, Abuja, and Abia states.
When asked about how she overcame bullying, Raimi recounted her emotional journey of growing up without a mother and enduring abuse from a caregiver. “I was constantly told I’d never amount to anything,” she said. “Today, I stand as a living proof that determination and self-belief can turn pain into purpose.”
Beyond the crown, Raimi is a dedicated humanitarian. She founded The Love for Humanity Project, a personal initiative focused on spreading kindness, hope, and restoring faith in humanity across underserved communities.
As Miss World Nigeria 2025, she will now go on to represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, where she’ll compete with delegates from over 140 countries.
Raimi’s victory marks a new chapter not just for her, but for many young Nigerian women who see her story as a beacon of courage, compassion, and confidence.
